The 2023 W.O.A.A. Senior Hockey Playoffs are set to get underway.
The 2022/23 regular season came down to the final day to determine playoff matchups, with both Sr. "AA" and Sr. "A" brackets needing the final game to settle seeding.
The Saugeen Shores Winterhawks took a 7-0 victory over the Shelburne Muskies on Sunday in Owen Sound to give Saugeen Shores the 3rd seed, putting the Minto 81's in the 4th seed, and Tavistock Royals in the 5th seed.
The #1 seed Seaforth Centenaries will take on the 8th-seed Durham Thundercats in the quarterfinal round, the #2 seed Ripley Wolves will battle the #7 seed Petrolia Squires.
The Creemore Coyotes will make their first-ever appearance in the Sr. "AA" Playoffs as the 6th seed, taking on Saugeen Shores.
Minto and Tavistock will round out the quarterfinal round on the Sr. "AA" side.
The Sr. "A" Playoffs begin in the Semi-Final round with the 9th-place Shallow Lake Crushers taking on the 12th-place Lucknow Lancers.
The Shelburne loss on Sunday means the Milverton Four Wheel Drives will have home-ice advantage in their series with the Muskies.
All playoff series schedules will be posted on this website once finalized and submitted to the W.O.A.A. office.
