Seaforth Centenaires capture Sr. AA Championship
A late third period goal catapulted the Seaforth Centenaires to their first W.O.A.A. Sr. AA Championship.
Despite falling behind 3-0 in the series, the reigning champions from Clinton did not roll over, taking a convincing 6-1 win the previous night in Game 4, and battled to the very end in Game 5.
Game 5 was as might be expected in a championship series between two long-time rivals, a rough and tumble hockey game with plenty of intensity to go around.
Craig Dalrymple scored the championship-winning goal on the power play with 5:05 remaining in the third period to break a 1-1 tie.
Seaforth held on to preserve the win and the championship.
Congratulations to the Seaforth players, staff and executive on building a championship team, and to the Clinton Radars for an incredible run as four-peat champions.

Game 6 in that series is scheduled for Sunday, April 3rd at 4:30 p.m. in Shallow Lake.
Shallow Lake leads the series 3-2.
