Lots of questions remain
Submitted By Sr Hockey on Thursday, August 6, 2020
Although the teams have been working behind the scenes to prepare to play hockey for the 2020/21 season there are still a lot of questions to be answered

After the shutdown of the 2019/20 season that left the WOAA Sr hockey teams, players and fans without much wanted closure and champions the league officials have been patiently waiting for answers on what can be done to start up again for next season
Normally teams would have met in June and had a schedule done in July, that was all set aside as they waited to see what happened throughout the summer months, with the normal start of the season approaching quickly the team reps did take part in a zoom meeting in late July to try to at least set a game plan on what to do if they were given the go ahead to return to play, and in turn if they were told they could not
For the time being the teams have agreed to have their AGM by the end of August and get everything for returning to play prepared as they would for a normal season while they await further information from the government on when they can do so and what restrictions they will have to abide by. Here's hoping at some point we can have more great Sr hockey to watch!
