Playoffs FINALLY set!!!
Submitted By Tim McNaughton on Tuesday, February 4, 2020
The regular season wrapped up this past weekend, finally bringing clarity to the standings

Sunday February 2nd the WOAA regular season schedule finally wrapped up, along with it being the official end of the schedule it also finally gave us complete clarity in the standings. Friday evening Shelburne solidified it's season by beating Saugeen Shores and taking over 2nd place, pushing the Winterhawks to 3rd, Saturday Tillsonburg finished up with a big win against Elora securing 6th, while Durham faltered against Lucknow to slide to 8th.
With everything finally finalized it looks like the playoffs should be just as exciting as the regular season was with some amazing match-ups and some great story lines. 1st place Ripley will face off against 8th place Durham for the 3rd season in a row, 2nd place Shelburne draws 7th place Minto who went on one hell of a run to make it into the AA side, 3rd place SS draws 6th place Tillsonburg, two teams who have NEVER met before, regular season or playoffs! And that leaves yet another battle of hwy 8 with the 4th place Radars opening against the 5th place Centenaires.
In the A side both Tavistock and Elora will have a break as they qualified for the bye in the first round, Milverton will face off with Shallow Lake, who didn't meet all season, while Petrolia will face off against Lucknow in the other best of 3.
Make sure to check out all the schedules on our site, or on the teams social media and follow along to see who comes out on top!!
