New Year Coming!
Submitted By Tim McNaughton on Monday, December 30, 2019
With January quickly approaching teams keep pushing forward

The month of December has been another interesting one for the WOAA Sr hockey league and it's teams, Ripley finally gave up a couple wins while Clinton, Saugeen Shores and Shelburne kept rolling along forcing a 4 way tie for 1st place to finish the calendar year, with 1 month of regular season play left it will be interesting to see if someone can pull ahead in the race!
Seaforth, Durham, Tillsonburg and Tavistock have come on strong to hold spots in the top 8, while recent surges from Elora and Minto have put them in a tie for 9th just one point out of the top 8, that race should be really tight right till the last weekend with a couple teams left disappointed.
Milverton and Petrolia stumbled a bit in December leaving them a bit behind in the race, but not far enough out that a strong month couldn't put them right back in the mix, Lucknow and Shallow Lake keep plugging away sitting in 13th and 14th.
January is bound to be exciting all over the league, so get out and catch some games in person!
