The 2019/20 Sr hockey season started up on October 4th and 5th with 5 games

Friday October 4th saw 2 games played to start off the 2019/20 season, in the first game the Petrolia Squires skated to a 7-4 victory over the Minto 81's in Petrolia, the second game saw an understaffed Elora Rock team take a big 3-2 win over Shallow Lake, in Shallow Lake
Saturday night followed with 3 games including the Ripley Wolves and Saugeen Shores Winterhawks having to cancel their game late in the 2nd period because of an ice issue at the Davidson Center in Kincardine, the game will be re-played in it's entirety on Saturday February 1st in Ripley. The second game that day saw the Petrolia Squires skating for the 2nd time in 2 days drop a 6-3 decision to the Tillsonburg Thunder, in Tillsonburg. Lastly the Tavistock Royals visited the Shelburne Muskies who took their home opener 6-5 in OT after lots of back and forth scoring.
